Audition results come after careful consideration from the directors to find the best balance for each student: which group will challenge but not overwhelm each of our students for the following school year. There ARE a couple of sections that we will be monitoring closely throughout the fall semester, with the hope of being able to move a few students from Symphonic Band to Wind Symphony.
All 3 of these groups are going to be successful and a lot of fun next year! I’m really excited about working with all 3 ensembles!
The students listed are currently signed up on their course cards submitted to the counselors to be placed in a band for next school year. If you are NOT on the list and you SHOULD be, please contact Mrs. Cansler (canslerca@friscoisd.org) ASAP so we can fix the error either on your course selection card or on our lists! No one has “not made a band” for next year. If you want to play, we WANT you to play! 🙂
Remember, SummerBand rehearsals are August 6-9 at Cobb MS, 7-9 pm. We hope to see you ALL there. Please let Mrs. Cansler know if you cannot make it. The music is available HERE. (You must be logged in to your FISD Google account to access the music.)
